MANDATORY MEETING 📅 Tomorrow ⏰ 5:30 PM 📍 High School Media Room If you have a child who may be interested in trying out for the 2026–2027 Middle School or High School Cheer Team, a parent or representative must be present at this meeting on behalf of you and your child. We understand there are away basketball games tomorrow. If you are unable to attend because of this, please contact Amie or Tori.

Today we are reminded that iron sharpens iron, and the support from others who understand the grind means everything. A huge THANK YOU to the Woden Varsity Cheerleaders for the thoughtful goodie bags wishing our Garrison Varsity good luck. The encouragement from a fellow Nacogdoches County program truly means so much to our team and our program.
We also want to give a special shout-out to our Garrison Middle School Cheerleaders for the Starburst bag that read, “Burst onto the mat like the stars that you are.” Your support and kind words made our day and remind us how special our cheer family is from top to bottom.
Tonight, our Garrison Varsity Cheerleaders take the mat at the UIL State Spirit Championships. Please help us wish them the best of luck as they represent our school and community with pride.
If you can’t make it in person, be sure to tune in on NFHS and cheer them on!

We are excited to announce that the Garrison ISD softball field is nearing completion. As the softball season approaches, we ask all visitors to refrain from entering the area, as the company is still working on the baseball field. If they are forced to halt their work due to increased traffic, the baseball schedule may be further delayed.

Congratulations to Garrison Elementary!

🎄💙 Angel Tree Adoption – Child Development in Action 💙🎄
Our Child Development students had the opportunity to adopt a child from our local Angel Tree, turning classroom learning into real-world impact. Through this project, students applied Child Development TEKS by:
✨ Identifying age-appropriate toys and activities that support physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development
✨ Selecting basic necessities while understanding the importance of health, safety, and daily care needs
✨ Practicing budgeting, planning, and decision-making skills
✨ Demonstrating empathy, responsibility, and the role of families and communities in supporting children
This experience helped students see how developmental concepts go beyond the classroom and into the lives of real children. We are incredibly proud of their compassion, teamwork, and commitment to serving others this holiday season.
