Garrison ISD allows students who live outside the Garrison School District to Apply for Transfer. In approving transfers, the district shall consider availability of space and instructional staff and the student's disciplinary history and attendance records.

• You may send your application and documents to Garrison ISD by mail, deliver them in person to the Superintendent’s Office, or email them to Crystal Linebarger at Linebargerc@garrisonisd.com. Students will not be considered until all documents have been received.

• The deadline for applications to be accepted is Monday, June 1, 2026.

• The parent or legal guardian will be informed of the campus principal's decision via mail by July 10, 2026.

• All Pre-K transfers will be contingent upon the availability of space after the school year begins. They will be accepted in the order in which all requested documentation is fully received. **Accepted Pre-K students will not begin school until approximately August 24, 2026.

• Transfer applications may be accepted after the June 1st deadline, however space may be limited.
