The Garrison ISD Board of Trustee's recognized the 2025 THSPA Division 4 State Powerlifting Champions at last night’s board meeting. Garrison Powerlifting received their 3rd state championship in a row.
Jabrahlyn Jones - Senior SHW Class, 4 Year Powerlifter, 3 Team State Championships,
1st Place Individual State and Regionals 2025
Gavin Pollard - Senior 308 lb. class, 4 Year Powerlifter, 3 Team State Championships
1st Place Individual State and Regionals 2025, Best Overall Bencher and Total Heavy Platform at Regionals and State
Avery Yarbrough - Junior 148 lb. class, 3 Year Powerlifter, 3 Team State Championships
1st Place Regionals, Best Overall Deadlifter and Total at Regionals
Alex Rambin - Junior 275 lb. class, 3 Year Powerlifter, 1st trip to state
5th Place at State, 3rd Place at Regionals
Bo Pollard - Soph 220 lb. class 2 year Powerlifter, 1st Trip to state
4th Place at State, 2nd Place at Regionals
Jake Harris - Soph 123 lb. class 2 year Powerlifter, 2 Team Championships
9th place at state, 1st place regionals

Early voting for the May 3, 2025, Garrison ISD Board of Trustees Election begins today in the Annex Building. Early voting entry is at the door closest to North B Avenue.

If your child is registered for the Carlton Driving School classes will start on Monday April 21, 2025 at 3:45 in the new OAP Threate room.
The district will be closed on Friday, April 18th. Classes will resume on Monday, April 21st.

Panola College is offering opportunities for students to receive help in passing the TSIA2 test. One flier is for reading and the other flier is for math. This is not associated with Garrison ISD, but we wanted to pass along this opportunity for parents and students that were interested.

We are seeking all future Bulldogs of the GHS class of 2039!
Parents, if your child is currently 4 years old or will turn 4 by September 1, 2025, now is the time to consider enrolling them in PreK.
Additionally, if your child will be 5 by September 1, 2025, it is time to register them for Kindergarten.
Join us for a drop-in event on Monday, April 7th, from 9 AM to 2 PM, where you can meet with teachers and learn how our PreK program can benefit your child.
If you are unable to attend, you may still meet with our campus secretary to complete the necessary paperwork any time after 9:00 AM during the week of April 7th.
It is crucial for us to obtain an accurate count of students for the Garrison Class of 2039 to ensure we are adequately staffed and equipped with the necessary resources for the upcoming year.
