Lady Dog Area Play Off Information

Candy Corn Bandit Storybook Day! Mrs. Mora and the library hosted another awesome storybook. Elementary classes were able to go to the library and hear the story of the Candy Corn Bandit. Thank you to Mrs. Weems and her 6th grade Art class for helping with the Candy Corn decorations and the Detective Badges. Also, thank you to Jase Nicholson for being the Bandit all week.

SENIOR NIGHT!!!
Friday night, we will have Senior Night before the football game. We will honor the football, cheer, band, twirl, and cross country seniors. Seniors and their families will begin to line up at 6:35 and we will start Senior Night at 6:45!

Please join us in sending off the Garrison Bulldog Band to the UIL State Competition in Waco.

All our welcome for a community send-off on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at 5:30 PM. GBB Supporters may gather on either side of Bulldog Drive, on the outside of the gate.

The band will perform on Wednesday, Ocotober 29, 2025 at 10:45 AM in Waco.

Reminder: Bundt Cake pickup today from 1:00-5:00 in the multipurpose room in the MAC building. Any cakes not picked up today will be left in the elementary office for pick up at your convenience. Thanks.

Since 2020, Garrison ISD has been recognizing individuals who have significantly influenced both Garrison ISD and the Garrison Community by inducting them into the Ring of Honor.

We express our gratitude to all those, both past and present, who have made remarkable contributions to our district. Plaques commemorating their accomplishments are displayed in the High School Gym.

On Friday, October 31, 2025, Garrison ISD will induct 2 of the 3 Inductees into the Ring of Honor.

Jimmy Thompson and Domingo Bryant will receive their honors during halftime of the football game against Timpson.

Due to a scheduling conflict, Jabara Williams will be recognized at a later date.

Last year's game was exciting and came down to the end. You do not want to miss the game this year. Come and and support next Saturday (November 1st) at 10:00 A.M.

Good Morning Parents,
Garrison Middle School will have a pep rally this afternoon at 3pm in the middle school gym. Parents should enter and exit on Henning Dr (next to the Garrison ISD marquee). Parents will park in the old high school parking lot (now the MAC Bldg). Please see the attached pictures.

Our 8th graders attended ’Futures in Focus’ at SFA to learn more about which career path they would like to choose someday. It was great exposure to different careers in our area and paid internships opportunities that are available to them once they turn 16.

ATTENTION SENIORS
If you are considering college or a trade school, your 2nd meningitis (MCV4) immunization is required to attend colleges and most trade schools. Men B is recommended, but not a requirement, it also requires a 2nd dose at a later date to be fully immunized. Aurora concepts will be coming to GISD 11/7/25 to administer immunizations. Please follow the link to sign up, or return the completed paperwork to the front office of the high school no later than 11/5/25.
