Garrison High School May Events
The Livestock Exhibitor forms have been delivered to the 2nd-11th grade students at Garrison ISD. If interested in showing an animal project at the Piney Woods Fair, Nacogdoches County Steer Show and/or Nacogdoches County Youth Commercial Show, please return the forms to the Garrison Ag Department.

The Garrison FFA Awards Banquet will be held on Thursday, May 12th in the MS Gym at 6:30 PM!
All Junior FFA Members, FFA members, Pineywoods Fair, Commercial Heifer and Steer Show Exhibitors, Senior FFA Members and our Ag Backer Supporters will be recognized for their achievements throughout this school year!
No ticket required.
We will host both a live & silent auction, including a student-built BBQ Grill as the feature item!

Athletic Banquet Information
The Banquet is scheduled for May 9th at 6:30 in MS Gym.
Tickets are $5 for Athletes and $15 for Adults or Guests.
Mrs. Sprayberry has the tickets in the HS office to purchase.
We accept cash, check and venmo for payments.
Deadline is April 29.
Menu : Stuffed Baked Potatoes with BBQ and Chicken Fajita meat, garden salad, and peach cobbler.

Construction Update - April 18, 2022

Garrison ISD will have a regular start to the school day tomorrow - Thursday, April 14th.
Reminder: There will also be no school on Friday, April 15th. It is a scheduled Teacher Comp Day.
After careful consideration and rural road evaluations, we feel as though it is in the best interest of our school community safety to close on Wednesday April 13th. There is significant debris and several power lines across numerous rural roads across the school district.
We apologize for any inconvenience this creates but hope you understand this decision comes in the best interest of our staff and student safety. There is another scheduled line of storms to pass through the area Wednesday morning. We pray for the safety of our school community and anyone affected by these storms...please spread the word.

Pre-K Roundup and Student Transfer Forms
Pre-K round-up is scheduled to begin on Monday, April 18, 2022 through Friday, April 22, 2022.
Applications for student transfer for the 2022-2023 school year will be taken from April 18, 2022 through June 3, 2022. These forms can be found under the Quick Links tab of the district website.
