Garrison ISD UIL Realignment Information
Dear Bulldog Family,
Due to inclement weather, Garrison ISD will be starting at 10:00 AM tomorrow, February 4th. Buses will run approximately 2 hours and 10 minutes later than normal. Parent drop-off will begin at 9:30 AM.
Please monitor the Garrison ISD app and social media sites for any updates. We will be monitoring the weather for any changes.
We apologize for any inconvenience, but safety is our priority for our students, faculty, and community members.

A Message from the Superintendent.
The Kids Heart Challenge dates are Jan. 24- Feb 11. All donations and packets need to be collected and returned by Feb. 11th. Thank you for your support.
There will be a Prom meeting Thursday @ 5:30 in the multipurpose room.

Our basketball game today in New Summerfield has been moved to this Thursday Jan 20th at 5PM with Just Varsity Girls and Varsity Boys.
Also, Just Varsity Girls will play WED Jan 19 vs. Cushing at home starting at 5pm.

School Closure and Update
Please read the attached document regarding school closure tomorrow, January 14, 2022 and a COVID update.
The lockdown at Garrison ISD has ended and all normal activities have resumed.
Garrison ISD is currently in Lockdown. There was an incident in town that made the lockdown necessary. All students are safe. We ask that parents do not try to check out their child at this time because we are in Lockdown. As we get more information we will share it with you.
The information meeting for the Middle School Trip to Washington DC has been moved to February 1st. Thanks!
Tomorrow's Games Update:
JV boys will be playing Chireno starting at 4:30, followed by the varsity girls vs Cushing, and then the varsity boys vs Cushing.
Garrison Middle is going to Washington D.C. over summer of 2023! RSVP to the info meeting on 1/25 to learn more! Additional information can be found on the GISD Middle School webpage under "Washington DC Trip." We cannot wait to see you there!
