
Homecoming 2023


We are excited about the upcoming homecoming game this Friday!
Festivities will begin at 6:10 pm.
Kickoff for the game will be at 7:00 pm.
We hope to see you there!

More information about the Homecoming parade!
Parade will be Friday, September 22th at 2:15.
Organizations wishing to have a float must have a form filled out and turned back in to the high school office. Forms are available at the school offices.
No student drivers are allowed. Only school organizations may have a float in the parade.
Vehicle Arrival time:12:30
Students will be dismissed after lunch (approximately 1:00) to help decorate the vehicles / trailers.
Maximum length of the trailer is 30 ft.
Staging and decoration Location: Back of Old High School gym, New High School Side
We will not have a specific parade order. As vehicles arrive at designated time, GISD staff will direct you to parking/ staging lanes.
Floats may enter the “best float contest” for 20$. Floats will be judged and awards announced at the Pep Rally.

Garrison ISD and the library would like to thank everyone for supporting the book fair this year! It was a huge success!


GISD remembers all that took place on September 11th and after. We will never forget.

Fall Sports Schedules





Due to the completion of some construction projects, student drop off and student pick up has changed since last year.
School will begin on August 16, 2023 at 7:45 AM. The first bell will ring at 7:40 AM and the tardy bell will ring at 7:45 AM. See the maps attached for pick up and drop off instructions.
Morning Drop Off will begin at 7:25 AM and the gate will be open until 7:45 AM. Do not leave students unattended. Students arriving tardy will enter through their campus office.
**Band students Only - 6:30 AM - 7 AM (The gate will require a code provided by the band director.)
Afternoon Pick Up will being at 3:10 PM for grades PK-5th.
When picking up PK-5th grade there will be a double line from West Cedar St. along Ave B. Please do not enter the pickup line from the side streets.
PK-5th grade should follow the red lines as shown.
Any person needing to pick up both an elementary student (PK-5) and secondary student (6-12) will need to follow the red line for (PK-5) and the orange line for (6-12).
6th -12th Grade will be released at 3:25PM each regular school day.
We look forward to an amazing school year and can't wait to see our students!
