Welcome
to the Garrison
Independent School District website. I encourage you to take
a
few minutes to explore the updates to our website. Our goal
is to
provide a user-friendly site that will keep you informed of the various
activities at GISD.
Garrison ISD prides itself in a low teacher to student ratio, thus
creating a better learning environment for all students. In
addition to a strong academic program, GISD has a rich tradition of
athletic programs, an award-winning band program and one of the largest
vocational programs in East Texas.
Our students, staff, board members and community are dedicated to
making Garrison ISD the best school around. On behalf of our
Board of Trustees and staff, I would like to thank you for visiting our
